Our Clinics
The Greene County Tennis Association is excited to announce that Bart Kennedy will be returning to provide tennis clinics, private lessons, and tournaments for youth and adults, as well as USTA Adult League play. Bart is truly a staple in the tennis world, and we believe he will do great things in our community. He is a graduate of GHS, and Tusculum University where he played tennis. Bart began the grassroots effort here at GCTA in 2007. He then became a USPTA elite teaching professional, coached at GHS, and is currently head coach at Milligan College. Bart’s passion for the sport of tennis is contagious and he wants to see the sport flourish again in this area. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience back to GCTA. “I am honored to be asked to revive the programs, offer my insight, and keep the sport that has given so much to me and my family alive.” A full schedule will be released in the next few days. Clinics will begin next week!
Tennis Tots
Ages 4-6
Come join our tiniest tennis crew! In this 45 minute clinic, we will learn the basics of tennis through games and high-energy activities. Most importantly, we will have fun!
Elementary Tennis
Ages 7-11
The fun continues with elementary school tennis. The one hour clinic features all the fun of tennis tots but with added fundamental elements, live ball feeds, and competitive point play.
Middle and High School Tennis
Ages 12-18
An hour clinic that provides a positive environment where athletes can develop consistency, smart shot selection, and preparation for recreation and tournament play.
